National Volunteering Week 2024

National Volunteering week took place in May 2024. Part of  National volunteering week Laois Volunteer Centre presented the Portlaoise Community First Responders with AED’s.There was an information night at the Kilishin Hotel where the Portlaoise Community First responders attended to find out more what the Volunteer centre had to offer. The Volunteer centre are very happy to support this group and wanted to thank all that attended. The Group are the first in Portlaoise and hope to be up and running very soon, watch this space. we were supported on the night by Chairperson of Volunteer centre Conor Ganly, Manager Caitriona Ryan, Development Officer Emer Boyle and Migrant and support Officer Shirin Eldris.
